Hello!
When exploring my approach of hyper-realism via photography, I dive into the fine details of everyday objects, capturing them in a way that invites viewers to see the world with fresh eyes. Through meticulous focus stacking techniques, I unveil layers of depth and complexity, transforming the ordinary into something you're not used to seeing the way you're seeing it while viewing.
My work celebrates the beauty of minutiae, inviting viewers to pause and take in the intricacies that often go unnoticed. Each tediously crafted image is a testament to the power of observation and the art of photography.
By presenting these highly detailed objects in larger formats, I aim to immerse viewers in a visual approach that transcends the confines of everyday perception. Through my lens, even the smallest or most unexpected of subjects command attention, inviting contemplation and sparking curiosity.
Through my approach, I strive to bridge the gap between typical perception inviting viewers to explore the something otherwise disregarded, forgotten or taken for granted anew and discover the beauty in the seemingly mundane. Multiple collections in my series plays on nostalgia. When viewing, you'll revert right back to a specific memory related to that image, something which is different for each viewer.
My work is printed in high detail on archival paper using pigmented inks for hundreds of years of longevity.
